This quilt features the Plaid Knot block and is inspired by the quiet beauty of a pine forest. Blocks are made slightly oversized and then trimmed to size, so no templates are needed.
Solomae was inspired by her memories of exploring the pine forests and mountains near Placerville and Lake Tahoe in California. The design brings to mind a winter day by the fireplace with a warm quilt, a good book and a cat.
She named it Traditions to connect cherished memories from the past with the holiday celebrations of today.
