The quilt uses geometric shapes interlocked to create a mesmerizing pattern that draws the eye across the fabric.
The diamonds and triangles converge to form star-like configurations, reminiscent of celestial constellations scattered across the night sky.
The color scheme is a thoughtful curation of blues, greens, purples, and reds, each hue carefully chosen to contrast and complement its neighbors, giving the quilt a vibrant, lively appearance.
The border’s floral pattern adds an organic touch to the quilt’s precise geometry, offering a soft counterpoint to the sharp angles within.
This juxtaposition of the floral with the geometric imbues the quilt with a dynamic balance, reflecting the diversity and harmony found in nature.
The pattern is a block of the month in two different sizes.
Both quilts look the same. The 77 x 77 quilt is based on a three inch by thee-inch grid.
The larger quilt is based on a four inch by four-inch grid.
