Bold geometry. Gilded detail. Celestial elegance. Lunar Luxe is a striking Art Deco–inspired quilt that blends architectural lines, radiant curves, and lunar symbolism into a design that feels both timeless and luxuriously modern.
Inspired by the glamour of the 1920s and the rhythmic beauty of the moon, Lunar Luxe features seven flowing circular motifs framed by fine, linear detailing — creating dramatic movement and sophisticated symmetry.
Whether you choose high-contrast solids, rich metallic accents, or a softer palette, this quilt transforms beautifully with every fabric selection. Though the design looks intricate, construction is thoughtfully planned.
Foundation paper piecing and reverse appliqué techniques make precision achievable and curves smooth and approachable. This pattern is ideal for confident beginners ready to stretch or intermediate quilters who enjoy learning new techniques and creating bold statement quilts.
Pair with metallic accents for true Deco drama — or let color tell the story. Either way, Lunar Luxe is a quilt that commands attention.
Use the included templates or the Lunar Luxe Heavy-Duty Freezer Templates to save you time (no more tracing or cutting!) and make every curve smooth and precise.
