The nickel plated Serger Seam Hook (lil hookey) is meant to make threading and locking your serger project thread tails easier.
Two (2) Hookeys included in package.
- Snip thread seam tails at 2-1/2″
- Slip the Hookey blade into the serger seam a 1/2″ or more from the seam end
- Hook the thread tails near the ends
- Pull the thread tails into the seam with the hook slightly rotated toward the fabric
- Unhook the secured thread tails and clip the tails that hang past the exit point
