A woodland Thanksgiving feast is underway as a charming gathering of forest friends comes together to celebrate the harvest. A badger, red fox, raccoon, turkey, skunk, rabbit, hedgehog and chipmunk form a circle around a checkered cloth laden with pumpkins, squashes, gourds, Indian corn and juicy red apples.
The peaceful forest setting is filled with little details to discover — a grey squirrel watching a cardinal high in the branches, white fungi growing on a tree trunk, spotted red toadstools, pumpkins tucked among the grasses and evergreens, and slender bare trees silhouetted against a rosy autumn sky. A large golden sun settles behind the distant trees, casting a warm glow over this delightful Thanksgiving gathering.
