Black Ice is a combination of both large and small Square-in-a-Square Blocks and Diamond Blocks. The pattern is designed using specialty rulers. If you would rather paper piece these blocks, a master of the paper patterns is included. The quilt is set on a diagonal layout. The set-in-squares are paper pieced and a complete set of paper papers are provided for these blocks.
